Join Our Client, an industry-leading custom manufacturer, as a Purchasing Assistant (On-site)! Requirements: 1-3 years in procurement/sourcing, ERP proficiency, Excel skills, and strong vendor communication. Temp-to-hire Role!

responsibilities:
- Sourcing & Procurement Support: Assist purchasing leadership by obtaining supplier quotes, comparing material pricing, and tracking lead times to support custom production schedules.
- Vendor Management & Documentation: Coordinate directly with suppliers to collect technical spec sheets, compliance certifications, and maintain up-to-date vendor contact and pricing records.
- Systems & Data Integrity: Input and verify material specifications and order details in Our Client's ERP software, ensuring zero-error accuracy prior to purchase order release.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Estimating, Project Management, and Production teams to communicate sourcing progress and ensure material readiness.
- Reporting & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive purchasing logs and generate weekly status reports to ensure full alignment with Our Client's quality assurance standards.
